The East Hartford High School Music Room is where I first picked up an acoustic guitar and jammed on classic rock bass lines with the likes of Steve MacIntosh, Mark Robinson, Kevin McCue, and Keith Everin.
I studied jazz at Manchester, Connecticut Community College with Dr. Charles Gigliotti.
At that point, longtime jazz guitarist, Dave Palla entered one of the venues one night and we started a “Nat Cole” (drummerless) type trio that played around Connecticut for 11 years, including two years consecutively at the Greater Hartford Festival of Jazz and the Paul Brown Monday Night Jazz Series, all of which were held at Bushnell Park (or the rain venue.)
I’m looking forward to new projects!
